Scholarship amount details

The scholarship provides one-off fee remissions of $5,000 or $10,000 and 25%, 50% or 100% fee remissions for the standard course duration.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Prior Qualification: Any Undergraduate Degree
  • An undergraduate degree including:
    • The equivalent of 25 points (2 subjects) of first-year mathematics, specifically Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra (or equivalent), and
    • The equivalent of 25 points (2 subjects) of first-year science (any)
    • With a weighted average mark of at least 65%
  • Applicants: Should be a citizen of australia or can be an international student
  • Must have applied for an eligible graduate coursework degree
  • Must not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the Melbourne Graduate Scholarship, exceeds 100% of tuition fees
  • Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
    • IELTS- Overall 65, with no band below the 60
    • TOEFL- Overall 79, with Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13
    • PTE- Overall 58-64, inclusive and no communicative skill below 50
