Additional Information:
- To receive the full value of the scholarship, a student must remain enrolled in full-time degree studies at Waterloo for the full 4-month fall term
- If a student qualifies for the scholarship, they will receive scholarship information with Offer of Admission in Quest:
- If a student receives a scholarship before May, they must meet all the conditions specified. Once university reviewed grades available in early May, they will confirm University of Waterloo President’s Scholarship
- If a student receives the scholarship offer in May, the university will already have reviewed grades available in early May. A student must still meet all other conditions specified
- In late July, the student will receive an email with information about how to use the award to help pay tuition and fees
Scholarship Eligibility
- early May admission average, including required courses, must be between 85 – 899% for the program for which you’ve received and accepted an offer of admission
- admitted to a full-time, first-year degree program
- beginning post-secondary studies for the first time
- not applicable at Renison University College or St Jerome’s University, who offer their own scholarships
