Scholarship Overview

Monash High Achiever Award is a type of scholarship which is offered by the Monash University – Malaysia . High Achiever Award is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a semester basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is Malaysian Ringgit 5000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship.

  • Bachelor of Science
  • The Scholarship is applicable for all undergraduate courses except Bachelor of Medical Science Doctor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)

RM5,000 tuition fee waiver per semester, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

Additional Information:

  • English language proficiency can be exempted if the student has completed high school or equivalent at an institution where English was the language of instruction
  • To retain the scholarship applicants must:
    • maintain the maintenance score stated in your offer letter
    • complete the course within the normal duration. No extensions will be permitted
    • not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of your studies

Applicants must possess either of the following certificates

  • All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) – 90%
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC) – 85%
  • Senior Secondary School Certificate – 95% (Only Tamil Nadu (Chennai), Maharashtra (Mumbai), Karnataka (Bangalore) and Bengal (Calcutta)) – 95%
  • Prerequisites:
  • One of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Psychology or Mathematics at a higher level (Australian Year 12 equivalent)
