Scholarship Overview

Ontario Graduate Fellowships is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS and GRE. Scholarship Eligibility

• The fellowship will be awarded to graduate students on the basis of the student’s achievement and potential as a graduate student, as manifested in the student’s existing academic record and in his or her graduate application for admission
• Applicants must have honors Bachelor’s degree (4-year) or equivalent
• Minimum 75% overall standing in a four-year Honours Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• English language proficiency:
  • IELTS: 65 With writing: 60 and speaking: 60
  • TOEFL: 80 With writing 22, speaking 20, reading 20, listening 18
• GRE accepted but the required score is not mentioned
