The Postgraduate Academic Excellence Award is a type of scholarship that is awarded for pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at the University of Technology, Sydney. Applicants must not:

• be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; or
• have completed academic studies in Australia prior to commencing at UTS; and
• be a recipient of other scholarships or grants or the Alumni Advantage Program from UTS for the duration of this Scholarship; and be a government-sponsored student

Selection Process:

Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification or the GMAT exam (for admission into the Master of Business Administration only) recognized by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Master degree by coursework program.

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must have completed a UTS-recognized bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification; or
• The applicant has to submit other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrate potential to pursue graduate studies
• Applicants must satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • IELTS- Overall 65 with a writing score of 60
  • TOEFL- Overall score of 79 with a writing score of 21
  • PTE- Score of 58-64
