Scholarship Overview

The International Graduate Scholarship offers a 30% fee discount to graduates of the University of Northampton who studied on campus in the UK. This scholarship is available to you if you are wishing to study a Master’s course and have achieved a second class degree from a three or four year Bachelor’s degree or a first class degree from a one-year Top Up programme. Top Up graduates with a second class degree will also be eligible for 30% graduate scholarship.

Scholarship amount details

Any award will take the form of a 10%, 20%, or 30% reduction in the cost of tuition fees for the full length of the programme of study, with the exception of all Nursing programmes, where the maximum scholarship available is 10% for each year.

  • Certified copies of college or university certificates and any other relevant qualifications
  • A personal statement to explain why you are interested in studying your chosen course

Application Process:

  • Students are not required to apply for a scholarship separately, all international application forms are automatically considered for the scholarship when a program application is made
  • If the students are successful, they will be informed of their scholarship in their offer letter

  • Notification:-
    • Applicants will be notified if they have received a scholarship in their offer letter
    • Where an award is conditional, applicants are required to demonstrate that they meet the scholarship conditions outlined in their offer letter
    • Scholarship decisions are final and no further correspondence relating to awards or eligibility will be entered into
  • To accept a scholarship, a student must pay £7,000 of their first year tuition fee before being issued with a CAS and then the remainder (minus discounts and scholarships) in two instalments, depending on the start date of your course
  • A change of course to another qualifying programme within the University of Northampton will not affect the continuation of the scholarship. However, if this results in an extra year’s study the scholarship will only be paid for the total length of the first programme they enrolled onto
  • Students who do not satisfy the academic requirements to progress and are required to repeat a year (either full-time or part-time) or resit out of residence will not be eligible for a continuation of the award in the repeat/resit year
