The University of Northampton International Scholarship Scheme is a merit-based scholarship that provides up to a 30% reduction in tuition fees for every year of your study (excluding placement years). All full-time Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught courses delivered on campus fall within the scheme and you will be considered for a scholarship on the basis of your academic achievement.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold any two of the below:
    • Applicants should normally hold a higher second class honours degree or above in an internationally recognised undergraduate programme
    • Applicants with a lower-second class honours degree may also be considered Such candidates will normally be asked to produce evidence of academic capability, such as an essay
    • Applicants must provide evidence of a GCSE Grade ‘C’ in Mathematics (or internationally recognised equivalent)
    • Applicants will be required to apply for a DBS check before being permitted to engage in the dissertation research project if necessary
  • ELP requirement:
    • IELTS: Overall 65 with 65 in each component
    • PTE: Overall 70 with no score lower than 59 in each of listening, reading, and speaking, and 65 in writing
