Appication Process for this scholarship

• Letter of recommendation from appropriate Head of Department of own institution
• A detailed curriculum vitae is required
• Certified transcripts of examination results and English language translations of qualifications not issued in English

• Proof of the ability to sustain oneself financially for the academic year

• Any other relevant information regarding qualifications or previous work experience

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable.

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants need to include a personal statement
• Applicants must have passed bachelor’s degree with relevant degrees for postgraduate courses with a minimum average of 60% in final year examinations

Following are the additional requirement required for the particular course:

• Honours (Grade 22) degree in an appropriate engineering, computing, or cognate discipline, or an equivalent qualification (Master of Science in Software Engineering)
• A Level 8 or equivalent honours degree in Business, Science or Engineering, with a minimum grade of 21 (60%), comprising of at least 30 ECTS credits in any combination of maths, computer science, or engineering (Master of Science in Data Analytics)
• Applicants should hold a 4-year honours degree in software design or an equivalent qualification with a minimum grade of 21 (60%) (MSc in Software Design with Artificial Intelligence, Master of Science in Software Design with Cloud Native Computing, Master of Science in Software Design with Cybersecurity)
• A level 7 or level 8 degree in any discipline other than business studies are eligible (Higher Diploma in Business)
• A Level 8 honours degree comprising of at least 30 ECTS credits in any combination of maths, computer science/IT or engineering (Postgraduate Diploma Data Analytics (Springboard/full-time))
• A 22 honours relevant degree (Master of Arts in Accounting)
• A first or a second class honours grade or an international equivalent in a Biology or Chemistry-related primary degree (for example Biotechnology, Toxicology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Science, Genetics, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Physiology, Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent qualification)
• Graduates who hold equivalent qualifications in related science and technology disciplines or who have relevant industrial experience will be considered for places on a case-by-case basis (Master of Science in Biopharmaceutical Technology)
• English proficiency scores: For PG –
  • IELTS: overall score of 60, with no band less than 55 (For Master of Science in Biopharmaceutical Technology, Master of Science in Data Analytics – IELTS overall score of 65 is required)
  • TOEFL: overall score of 60-93
