The Vice Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship is offered by University of East Anglia in United Kingdom. This scholarship is designed to reward international fee status applicants who have been offered a place to study with UEA and who can clearly and concisely explain how studying here at UEA will help them to make an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of study as well as the wider UEA community.

Appication Process for this scholarship

 

• Applications to the 2025 Global Excellence Scheme are to be submitted via video. They would like you to film your response to the following question:
• How will your experience at UEA help you to develop your knowledge and skills for the future?
• Consider:
  • Skills gained from your course
  • The wider opportunities available as an international student at UEA
• Submissions should be .mp4 format, filmed in standard definition (not HD or UHD) and no longer than 2 minutes in length.
• This is an opportunity to go beyond your personal statement, mention UEA specifically and tell them why UEA is the right university for you.
• They would encourage you to submit your scholarship application as soon as you feel it is ready. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, meaning that the sooner you apply, the sooner you will find out whether you have been successful.
• The deadline for application is 2 June 2025.

Scholarship Eligibility

 

• When applying for this scholarship, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate degree course starting at UEA in September 2025 or January 2026 or February 2026. Your offer should state that you are an international fee-paying student.
• Applicants holding another UEA scholarship or award should note that scholarships are exclusive. In a situation where a candidate is offered multiple awards, a greater amount will be offered.
• This scholarship can be used in conjunction with an Early Payment Award.
