Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed:
    • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) (10+2) with overall grade in best four academic subjects where A1=5, A2=45, B1=35, B2=30, C1=20, C2:15, D1=1, D2=05, OR
    • Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) awarded by the Indian Council of School Examinations (ICSE) with an overall percentage grade average in the best four externally examined subjects
  • Applicants with the completion of the Higher Secondary School examinations from some state boards with a competitive pass may also be accepted
  • Applicants are expected to have studied Mathematics and English
  • Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following tests:
    • IELTS – Overall 6.5, with a writing score of 6.0
    • TOEFL – Overall 79, with a writing score of 21
    • PTE – Overall score of 58

Scholarship Requirement:

  • Applicants must be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia)
  • Applicants must remain an international student post census date for the session in which they receive the Scholarship
  • Applicants must be commencing studies in a UTS degree full-time on-campus
  • Applicants must not be a recipient of a full tuition fee scholarship for the intended studies at UTS
  • Applicants must not be enrolled in a UTS transnational program and must not be a government-sponsored student
