Scholarship Overview

University of Southampton offers the Undergraduate International Merit Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of University of Southampton awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Applicants who have achieved 70% in English at Class XII from CBSE or CISCE may be exempted from additional English language requirements

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must have at least 75% from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) and Metro State Boards (Delhi, Maharashtra, Chennai, Kolkata and Karnataka)
• Subjects required: English, Mathematics, and Physics
• ELP scores
  • IELTS- overall score 65 with at least 55 in each competency
  • PTE- overall score 62 with a minimum score of 51 in each section
• Applicants must have either a conditional or unconditional offer for a place at the University of Southampton
