University of Southampton offers the Undergraduate International Merit Scholarships. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of University of Southampton awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Undergraduate International Merit Scholarships is applicable for Bachelors Degree. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as IELTS and PTE.   • Applicants who have achieved 70% in English at Class XII from CBSE or CISCE may be exempted from additional English language requirements

 

 

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have at least 75% in Class XII from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) and Metro State Boards (Delhi, Maharashtra, Chennai, Kolkata, and Karnataka)
  • Subjects required: Mathematics and Physics
  • Applicants must have either a conditional or unconditional offer for a place at the University of Southampton
