Vice Chancellor Global Scholarship for UG Students for UG Students is offered by the University of Reading . Vice Chancellor Global Scholarship for UG Students is awarded to Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is GBP 4000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: Official Transcripts.

Additional Information:

  • The Scholarship is valid for entry in the 2022/23 academic year only. Students selected for the Scholarship who subsequently defer entry to 2023/24 will not be entitled to carry the funding over to the following year
  • The University’s decision is final. The University reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship and claim back any discount already applied, if a student is subsequently found to be ineligible or if these terms and conditions are not adhered to

 

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Have completed the Higher Secondary School certificate combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation/bridging program
  • Apply for and be admitted to a University of Reading undergraduate program (including Integrated Foundation Year and M level qualifications but excluding Degree Apprenticeship study) commencing in the upcoming academic year
  • Demonstrate to the University outstanding academic achievement
  • Ensure their admission status is Unconditional Firm
  • Not already be in receipt of a full tuition fee scholarship
  • Be classified by the University as an international student for fees purposes
