Additional Information:

  • The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
  • i withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enrol,
  • ii becomes a domestic student,
  • iii commences part-time study without prior approval,
  • iv does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
  • v is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application,
  • vi has accepted another scholarship administered by the University of Sydney (funded by the University or by a third party), of a value at or exceeding A$10,000 per annum,
  • vii does not resume study at the end of a period of approved leave, or
  • viii any other provision as indicated in these terms that would lead to termination
  • b Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or withdraws from the relevant course, the University reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants:
  • must have any one of the following:
  • CBSE score of 115, entry requirement is the total of the best four externally examined subjects (where A1=5, A2=45, B1=35, B2=3, C1=2, C2=15, D1=1, D2=05)
  • Indian School Certificate- 80 (average of the best four externally examined subjects, including English)
  • Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate- 75 (Average of the best 5 academic subjects in the HSSC in the states, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal)
  • must have assumed knowledge: Mathematics and Chemistry
  • must satisfy the english language proficiency requirement by submitting one of the following test:
  • IELTS- Overall score of 65, with minimum score of 60 in each band
  • TOEFL- Overall score of 85, with minimum of 17 in reading, listening and speaking and 19 in writing
  • PTE- Overall score of 61
  • must be enrolled for CRICOS registered program of study at the University of Sydney in any Undergraduate coursework full degree program
  • must be willing to promote the program in which they are enrolled as well as represent the University of Sydney at student orientation, marketing events and corporate networking events
