Additional Information:

  • The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as assessed from a student’s application for admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
  • The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee consisting of two nominees of the Executive Director, Sydney Future Students and one nominee of the Admissions Office

 

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants:

  • must have passed 12th with one of the following:
    • India – CBSE – 110 – All India Senior School Certificate awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Total of the best four externally examined subjects, where A1=5, A2=45, B1=35, B2=3, C1=2, C2=15, D1=1, D2=05
    • Indian School Certificate – 79% -Indian School Certificate awarded by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) The required score is the average of the best four subjects, including English
    • India HSSC 6 States: 75% – Average of the best five academic subjects in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal The requirement is higher for other states
  • A minimum result of 65 overall and a minimum result of 60 in each band
  • A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
  • A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
  • Students also must:
    • be an international student
    • have applied for but not yet commenced a bachelor’s degree or a coursework master’s degree that is a CRICOS registered award program usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney
    • receive an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant close date
