Scholarship Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must apply to commence study in S1 or S2 2024 (the intake they are offered first)
  • Applicant must meet the University’s academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course
  • Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 95% in their highest completed qualification
  • Applicant must be an international student paying international student fees
  • Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency

Entry Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a recognized Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Science, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent international qualification in civil and structural, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering or an approved equivalent discipline
  • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 79 and a minimum writing score of 21
  • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE: A minimum overall score of 58 with no score lower than 50

Selection Criteria:

  • Overall score in their highest completed qualification
  • Supporting statements (up to 600 words) outlining why you should be awarded a scholarship
