Additional Information:

  • To receive the full value of the scholarship, a student must remain enrolled in full-time degree studies at Waterloo for the full 4-month fall term
  • If a student qualifies for the scholarship, they will receive scholarship information with Offer of Admission in Quest:
  • If a student receives a scholarship before May, they must meet all the conditions specified. Once university reviewed grades available in early May, they will confirm University of Waterloo President’s Scholarship
  • If a student receives the scholarship offer in May, the university will already have reviewed grades available in early May. A student must still meet all other conditions specified
  • In late July, the student will receive an email with information about how to use the award to help pay tuition and fees

 

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Students early May admission average, including required courses, must be 85 – 89.9% for the program
  • Students must be enrolled at Waterloo in full-time degree studies for the entire September to December term
  • A student must accept Offer of Admission by the date specified on the offer
  • TOEFL- Score of 90 is required with a minimum of 25 in writing and speaking
  • IELTS- Score of 6.5 is required with 6.5 in writing, 6.5 speaking, 6.0 reading and 6.0 listening
  • PTE- Score of 63 is required with a minimum of 65 in writing and speaking sections
