The University of Bolton is a public university in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. It was formerly known as the Bolton Institute of Higher Education, Bolton Institute of Technology, or simply Bolton Institute. It includes 700 academic and professional staff members and over 6,000 students. Its student body is roughly 70% of residents of the North West and Bolton.
