History
The Orange Coast Junior College district came into existence in 1947, with classes starting in 1948. OCC has been a higher education leader in Costa Mesa and the surrounding communities for over 75 years.
OCC takes pride in providing students with the tools they need to succeed in today’s world as one of the nation’s top transfer schools and with a robust offering of career and technical education programs. Campus
Located in Costa Mesa, the 164-acre campus of Orange Coast College is just minutes from Southern California’s beautiful beaches. OCC has outstanding facilities and cutting-edge technology. It offers over 135 academic and career programs, including one of the nation’s largest and most acclaimed public nautical programs. Nearly half the students on campus study in one of OCC’s Career and Technical Education programs, and enrollment averages around 22,000 students each semester.

Facilities
OCC provides experienced instructors with a variety of teaching methods for individual students. The college also offers lectures and labs that are frequently transferable to other institutions, such as the campuses of the University of California and California State University. OCC provides online and honors classes. Additionally, it offers over 50 programs leading to certificates of achievement and/or the Associate of Art and Associate of Science degrees.
How to apply?
