GSU has a 67% acceptance rate. The university has over 52,000 students, including 3,600 international students from over 100 countries. Georgia State University admissions recorded the highest international enrollment of 3,622 students in 2021. Most international students come from Asian countries such as India, China, and South Korea.
Student services
In the Student Center, patrons can relax and socialize in lounges, food courts, and a student-run movie theatre. In addition, the center houses student organization offices and numerous offices and programs that serve students and the campus community.
Library
Today’s university library is a discovery, creativity, and innovation hub. A ‘platform’ that brings together people from various walks of life can facilitate ‘collisions’ of ideas that lead to new insights and ‘spark’ innovation. Medical

Campus life
Alpharetta Campus is a vibrant and diverse campus that first opened its doors in 2000. They expanded course offerings in 2010 to include all academic areas, including 2000-level classes and additional day and evening courses.
With students from more than 150 countries, the Clarkston Campus is among the most culturally diverse in the University System of Georgia.

Accommodation
Georgia State University provides on-campus housing to its students in six luxurious housing communities with various options. Students can enroll in Living-Learning Communities, or LLCs, where they will pair with peers with similar interests and hobbies.
Gender-inclusive housing means anyone can occupy an apartment, regardless of sex, gender identity, or expression. Students can also apply to select their rooms and roommates
- Patton Hall, Piedmont Central, Piedmont North, University Commons, University Lofts, and Greek Housing are the six housing communities.
- All resident rooms have cable TV with over 80 HD channels, and all have access to high-speed internet service.
- Each community offers a variety of amenities, such as study rooms on each floor, laundry rooms, community kitchens, and so on.
Scholarships
International students at the university are not eligible for financial aid. GSU offers a limited number of scholarships to international students. The university will contact eligible students and invite them to apply for scholarships. Several scholarships are available to international students, including-

Aside from these scholarships, it provides many others of a similar nature, allowing international students to live and study more comfortably at the university. It also provides work-study programs for students, such as the Federal Work-Study Program and the Panther Work Program, and encourages them to work while studying.
