Founded in 1872, Virginia Tech is a public institution with a  total undergraduate enrollment of 29,760 in the fall of 2021. The institute’s campus spans 2,600 acres in total. The institute offers graduate programs for engineers, including some of the best ones. The NCAA Division I Atlantic Coast Conference is where the university’s athletic teams, also known as the Hokies, play. More than half of the people who live in Blacksburg are students. Virginia Tech admissions

Admissions at Virginia Tech are competitive, with a 56% acceptance rate and a 64.3% early acceptance rate. A score of 26 to 32 on the ACT or an SAT between 1210 and 1410 is required for admission to Virginia Tech for half of the candidates. However, one-quarter of those who were accepted had scores above these limits, and one-quarter had scores below them. Virginia Tech has a March 15 application deadline and a $60 application fee.
