The Chemical Engineering Program, Civil Engineering Program, Electrical, and Computer Engineering Program, and Mechanical Engineering Program have accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the ABET.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science has accreditation from the Computing Accreditation Commission of the ABET.

Upon satisfying certain conditions, the Bachelor of Science program in chemistry and the Bachelor of Arts program in chemistry meet the requirements of the American Chemical Society, making students of those programs eligible for membership in the Society immediately upon graduation.

Lafayette College lies on College Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley.

It is approximately 70 miles (110 kilometers) west of New York City and 60 miles (97 kilometers) north of Philadelphia. Its 340-acre campus is home to 69 buildings totaling 1.76 million square feet. It also includes a 230-acre athletic campus. The architectural styles of Lafayette’s campus buildings include the Second Empire design of Pardee Hall and the Collegiate Gothic design of Hogg Hall to the late modern architecture of the Williams Center for the Arts, the William E. and Carol G. Simon Wing of Skillman Library, and the Farinon College Center.
