Singapore Institute of Management
The Singapore Institute of Management has a reputation for empowering individuals and businesses to thrive through learning at all stages of life. Singapore Economic Development Board established SIM. It has been a pioneer in the development of work and industry skills for Singapore’s growth for nearly 60 years. SIM provides skills-based learning experiences that enable students, professionals, and businesses to ‘Learn for Life’ and ‘Thrive for Life’ by leveraging new knowledge, skills, and technology.
Campus
SIM Global Education (SIM GE), the global education arm, offers over 120 academic programs ranging from diplomas and graduate diplomas to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs with some of the world’s most prestigious universities from Australia, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The institute’s cohort consists of 16,000 full and part-time students and adult learners, approximately 30% of whom are international students from over 40 countries. SIM GE’s holistic learning approach and culturally diverse learning environment aim to provide students with the knowledge, industry skills, and competencies, as well as a global perspective, in order for them to succeed in a rapidly changing, technologically driven world.
In terms of facilities, the Namly Avenue campus is comparable, with lecture theaters, eating establishments, administration offices, and entrepreneurship centers. Aside from full-time and part-time programs, this institute offers a variety of other learning opportunities, including executive programs and conferences, entrepreneurship programs, customized learning, and development solutions.
Student life
The university sponsors a student organization called Student Life, which assists other students in having a good time on campus. Student Life supports athletic and artistic endeavors in addition to fostering the ‘Learning Beyond the Classroom’ ideology.

Courses
This institute launched three major diploma programs in management studies, marketing, and personnel development in the 1970s. Simultaneously, this institute laid a solid foundation for other certificates and degree programs. This institute collaborated with foreign universities, such as the University of London and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, in the 1980s to provide undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs on a local level. SIM also established in-house training and consulting services to assist local businesses and multinational corporations.
