The Maharashtra Cabinet recently announced its approval of the scholarships for minority students scheme dedicated to assisting 27 minority community students with their foreign academic endeavors.
Authorities detail that the scholarship tailors to candidates who have successfully secured an unconditional admission offer for a postgraduate Ph.D. course at a foreign institution ranked within the top 200 of the QS World Ranking.
The cabinet allocated an impressive budget of Rs10.80 crore. According to the scheme’s layout, 10 scholarships will be designated for students in Science, Technology, and Engineering. Additionally, both Medicine and Biology, as well as Liberal Arts and Humanities, will each receive six scholarships.
Agriculture courses will receive three scholarships. An official stated that Law and Commerce together will represent two scholarships.
