National College of Ireland | An innovative learning platform

The National College of Ireland (NCI) is a non-profit, state-funded, third-level education institution in Dublin. Established in 1951, NCI came into existence as a collaboration between Irish Jesuits and Irish Trade Unions under the name Catholic Workers College, Dublin.

It is now an autonomous college, offering full and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fields such as psychology, finance, business, and computing. The IFSC campus teaches the courses in Dublin and at a network of regional centers.

Medical services

The Hanover Medical Centre is a 2-minute walk from campus and provides subsidized medical services to college students. A Doctor’s appointment costs EUR 15 and includes a variety of services such as Immunizations, Specialist Clinics, Nursing Care, Minor Surgeries, Counselling, Blood Tests, STD Tests, Female Healthcare and Maternity, and Sports Injuries.

Student clubs

The NCISU is home to a number of student clubs, associations, and societies, including the Adventure Society, 5A Side Football, Arts Club, Cricket Club, Equality Society, Golf Club, Irish Culture Society, Islamic Society, and International Student Society, to name a few.

Throughout the year, these clubs and associations host a variety of events, such as induction ceremonies, freshmen and orientation week, entertainment and dance events, awareness drives, volunteering and fundraising activities, tours and trips, and movie nights on and around campus.
