RWTH Aachen University- A prestigious institution to be in

German public research university RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is Germany’s largest technical university, enrolling over 47,000 students in 144 academic areas. Teaching

RWTH Aachen University has actively developed teaching strategies over the past ten years to lower dropout rates and assist students in improving their learning outcomes while upholding the university’s high academic standards and an acceptable length of study. With the idea of “Students in Focus of Excellence,” the University successfully responded to the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft’s funding call for excellent teaching in 2009.

Courses

The nine RWTH Aachen faculties provide the students with a wide range of engineering sciences, natural sciences, geosciences, business and economics, humanities, and medical subjects through their more than 100 study options. RWTH Aachen switched all of its programs to the Bachelor-Master structure beginning in the winter semester of 2012–2013. There are two exceptions: medicine and dentistry. Only the higher core semesters can be used to complete other courses of study leading to the ‘Diplom’ and ‘Staatsexamen’ degrees.

Alumni

All RWTH Aachen grads want to stay in touch. This group includes all graduates, former employees, PhD candidates, professors, and visiting researchers. Everyone who has contributed to RWTH research, teaching, and collaboration and wishes to maintain contact after finishing their respective programs at the university. The network also serves as a members’ directory where users may look up classmates, business contacts, and other individuals.
