Stenberg College – An institution with a purpose
Established originally in 1990 by Mary Jane Stenberg and in 2003, The Education Company Inc. (TEC) acquired Stenberg College. A skilled group of educators that built and ran The Center for Digital Imaging and Sound (CDIS) from 1979 to 2003 founded TEC. In addition to Stenberg College, TEC also oversees a variety of other educational establishments across Canada, such as the Centre for Arts and Technology.
Accreditation
Stenberg College has accreditation from the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education of the British Columbian government (PTIB). They are also endorsed by EduCanada, the official website of the Canadian government for international students.
Programs
In order to help students start their careers in Canada, Stenberg College offers them the chance to enroll in career-focused programs and get high-quality, industry-recognized education. Student life at Stenberg college
Students at Stenberg College have access to the student government, volunteer activities, multicultural festivals, and campus events including delightful holiday parties with food and décor. A few of the additional support services offered to international students include one-on-one time with staff members for academic and career aid, academic workshops and study skills training, weekly ESL courses, and post-graduation support for alumni.
Scholarships Bursaries Awards at Stenberg College
Student of the Year (SOTY)
Staff and teachers at Stenberg College nominate students who exhibit excellence in academics, leadership, attitude, community service, and spirit throughout the academic year. Numerous nominations and accounts of students who have gone above and beyond expectations are sent to the college.
They publish the names of those who have been nominated from the cohorts graduating in the spring before the Spring Graduation in April.

Bursaries
Depending on eligibility requirements, Stenberg College offers program-specific bursaries which cannot be combined with other offers by college.
