The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university located in the beautiful Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It has full accreditation. The international campus in Chandigarh, India, opened in 2006. It allows students to begin their education in India while completing their degree programs on the Canadian campus.
At the University of the Fraser Valley, the average class size is 25 students. The university welcomes a large number of international students each year. 1,708 international students enrolled in 2017 and the number is increasing since then. These demographics represented 64 countries from around the world. In the same year, there were 722 academic employees and 699 administrative employees.
Over 100 programs are available at the University of the Fraser Valley. The university provides bachelor’s degrees with majors, minors, and extended minors in various subject areas, as well as master’s degrees. Students can also choose from 68 undergraduate certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs, 4 graduate certificates, 22 trades and technology programs, 22 adult learning and continuing education programs, over 40 study abroad programs, and 6 major cooperative education options.
Seven colleges and faculties offer the programs- the College of Arts, the Faculty of Access and Continuing Education, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Professional Studies, the Faculty of Science, and the School of Graduate Studies.
Business Administration, Mathematics, Criminology/Criminal Justice, English, and Psychology are the five most popular academic programs at the university.
