In the United States, a general surgeon can earn around $396,000 per year. Similarly, Canadian general surgeons make around $310,000 a year. In Europe, general surgeons aren’t paid as much and get between $248,000 in Germany and $220,000 in the United Kingdom. Of course, if you manage to specialize in a certain field of surgery, the prospect of earning more money is high.

Therefore, while dental school is expensive,  it is one of the degrees that make the most money.

Some Canadian engineering managers make more than $190,000 per annum.

5) Corporate lawyer

As a successful corporate lawyer, you can get as much as $195,000 in the US. However, corporate lawyers in Canada earn a relatively lower salary and get $ 130, 000 USD a year. On the other hand, European corporate lawyers make $160,000 in the UK and nearly $190,000 in Germany.
