About the University of Greenwich
The University of Greenwich, founded in 1890, is a public university in London and Kent, England. The founding ethos of ‘no limits’ is a driving factor for the University of Greenwich. The University of Greenwich is on a world heritage site on the Thames’s bank and has campuses in London and Kent with approximately 35,000 students from over 130 countries.
The University of Greenwich is a leading modern public university with four faculties- the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Business School, the Faculty of Education and Health, and the Faculty of Engineering and Science.
Greenwich University received high ranks in recent National Student Surveys for its staff and courses. Business Administration, English Language and English Language Teaching, Computer Security and Forensics, Computing with Games Development, Financial Mathematics, Midwifery, and Public Health all have high student satisfaction ratings.

Location of the university
Greenwich University has three campuses- Avery Hill in southeast London, Greenwich, and Medway in Kent. Greenwich is the largest campus, and is on a World Heritage Site along the Thames River. It is famous as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, with buildings designed in the 17th century.
The Medway Campus is an enhanced Edwardian redbrick campus that houses the Engineering and Science Schools. It has historical ties to the Navy due to its location on the former shore base HMS Pembroke. The Avery Hill campus is in Eltham, surrounded by green fields and close to the city.
