The Claremont Colleges Services provides academic, student, and institutional support services to all 7,700 students and 3,600 faculty and staff at the Claremont Colleges. It offers all the resources of a large university without sacrificing CGU’s unique, intimate culture. Its students have access to a central library with over two million books, various health, counseling, and support services, a central bookstore, excellent campus dining options, and other amenities.

Student life

Claremont is just an hour by car or train from Los Angeles and combines small-town charm with the conveniences of a modern suburban community. The year-round good weather allows students to enjoy abundant Southern California culture. It provides access to nearby world-famous attractions, including Downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, the Getty Museum, and others.
