Leeds Trinity University is an educational institute with a good reputation. All students here receive the assistance they require, both in and out of the classroom, to reach their full potential.

The University’s traditional strengths are teacher education and theology, but recent investment has been made to develop media studies and journalism degrees, with full studios available for students in a variety of areas. In recent years, the university has introduced a number of new courses, including two-year degrees in education and sport, as well as tourism and leisure management.

Campus

The Horsforth campus is 15 minutes from the city center and features everything from independent cafes and boutiques to retail parks bursting at the seams with shops, cinemas, and restaurants. Town Street in Horsforth and Otley Road in Headingley are student hotspots, with a variety of bars and eateries to choose from.

Leeds Trinity University has everything a student needs, including housing. The Andrew Kean Learning Centre houses the library, information technology services, and a variety of study areas, including a 24-hour study space.

Throughout the academic year, the library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Leeds Trinity has also taken care of all your food, drink, and entertainment needs on campus.

Students can grab a Starbucks coffee in the Atrium or a Grumpy Mule in the library, refuel with a great selection of hot and cold meals in the Dining Room, or catch up with friends over a drink and pizza at the Students’ Union bar.

Students have access to the sports and fitness center to work out, or they can find a quiet space in the religious spaces in the heart of campus.

Students also get access to a library, a gym, cafes, and a bar on campus. Students also have access to a laundrette, a lounge with pool tables and TVs, and a postroom.

Courses

Leeds Trinity University focuses on research, advanced scholarship, and knowledge exchange. To improve its students’ learning experiences, it cultivates a research-led culture across all its course subject areas and research centers.

The Andrew Kean Learning Centre houses approximately 115,000 print books and 500,000 electronic books. There is also a substantial section with classroom resources. All library services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A sports science laboratory, as well as a nutrition and food preparation laboratory, are also located on this campus. These facilities provide opportunities for sport psychology practicals, fitness testing, and practical research with food and dietary analysis.

Supporting Children and Families in Social Contexts and Supporting Learning and Additional Needs are two foundation and top-up courses available at Leeds Trinity.
