Pellissippi State Community College (Pellissippi State), Tennessee, is a public community educational institute in Knox and Blount counties. The Tennessee Board of Regents manages it. The main campus of the college is in west Knox County. In the surrounding area, there are four satellite campuses. Until July 1, 2009, Pellissippi State’s old name was Pellissippi State Technical Community College. It is the heir to the former State Technical Institute at Knoxville (‘STIK’), which was established in 1974.

Located in Knoxville, Pellissippi State Community College is a public college in the US state of Tennessee. Its campus is in a suburb and has a total enrollment of 10,894. at The school divides its academic year into semesters. There is a 20-to-1 student-faculty ratio. Hardin Valley campus
The Hardin Valley Campus of Pellissippi State Community College opened in 1986, 12 years after the College first opened as the State Technical Institute at Knoxville on what is now Division Street Campus. The Hardin Valley Campus is the largest.
The 144-acre campus includes a walking trail and a disc golf course open to the public. The Student Recreation Center, the Bagwell Center for Media and Art, and the Clayton Performing Arts Center are also notable features. On this campus, you might even see the unofficial mascots, Muscovy ducks, and Canada geese.
Blount County campus
The Blount County Campus of Pellissippi State Community College opened in 2010, but the college has been offering classes in Blount County since 1985, meeting at Maryville High School and the former Union and Bungalow elementary schools.
Students at the Blount County Campus can earn degrees and certificates in a variety of programs. Pellissippi State’s Nursing program, a manufacturing technology lab, the West Chevrolet Auditorium, an outdoor amphitheater, and a walking trail are all located on campus. A new Workforce Development Center is currently being built and will open in the fall of 2022. It will house the Culinary Arts program, a corporate training center, and shared space with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Division Street campus
The Division Street Campus of Pellissippi Community College is where the College’s history began. Founded in 1974, The State Technical Institute at Knoxville lies near downtown Knoxville. The campus has been a part of the College for more than 40 years. The campus includes classrooms and open labs, as well as collaborative space for Centro Hispano, East Tennessee’s leading resource for and about the Latino community.
Magnolia Avenue campus
Magnolia Avenue Campus of Pellissippi Community College opened in 2000 in the former Knoxville Catholic High School in east Knoxville. This campus educates approximately 600 students each semester, with programs such as Audio Production Engineering and Nursing. Residents of downtown Knoxville and surrounding areas can easily access the Magnolia Avenue Campus by car, public transportation, or even on foot.
Strawberry Plains campus
The Strawberry Plains campus of Pellissippi State Community College opened in 2012. More than 220,000 square feet of space is shared with Knox County Schools’ Career Magnet Academy, TCAT-Knoxville, and state offices.
The Jenny and Randy Boyd Building houses cutting-edge Nursing and Cyber Defense labs, as well as the Mega Lab, a massive space dedicated to Engineering Technology, Welding Technology, and Computer Information Technology.
