The CSU campus in downtown Cleveland spans up to 85 acres in an urban setting. The campus comprises 40 old and new buildings used for teaching, research, housing, administration, and recreation.

Work while studying
International students are not eligible for the Federal Work-Study award, but they may seek on-campus employment through CSU’s Non-Work Study Program. These students must obtain permission to work from the Center for International Services and Programs (CISP).
To work on campus, international students must be enrolled full-time at the university, obtain a Social Security number and complete payroll tax forms. During the regular academic semesters, students have permission to work up to 20 hours per week (not more than 40 hours a week during school breaks). Please remember that students can work up to 40 hours every week.
