Graduate Internships
Fishers’ career management focuses on delivering highly personalized career-focused programming and career consultation for business graduate students. You will be able to collaborate with a nationally recognized graduate career management team. Moreover, the team of experienced Career Consultants has over 85 years of corporate and graduate career management industry experience.
They have also consistently been, and continue to be, engaged in international, national, and regional/local leadership roles that continue to build Fisher’s student aspirants, in addition to significant years of experience and a passion for success. You will have access to highly personalized career consultation and programming designed specifically for graduate business students through career core.
Career Core is a series of online modules and assignments completed prior to the start of your program, as well as in-person discussions and presentations during pre-term/orientation. Career Foundation Seminars and conferences are also available based on your career focus. In addition to the relationship you’ll build with your Career Consultant, you’ll gain access to various cutting-edge career, company, and industry resources. Using a multifaceted approach, you will learn how to build relationships with corporate and alums contacts.
Undergraduate Internships
Unlike other universities, Fisher College offers an online platform- ‘Handshake.’ Handshake allows Fisher students to schedule 30-minute phone, Zoom, or in-person appointments. After logging in to Handshake, select “Career Center” and then “Appointments.” Handshake is used to schedule all QUIC interviews, which can be completed virtually and in person. Peer Career Coaches provide feedback on resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles via Zoom drop-ins and in-person drop-in hours during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Additionally, the Office of Career Management offers various services and resources to the undergraduate student body. Their mission is to provide highly personalized services in order to develop the best-prepared job candidates5 best career options after MBA in the USA and to be every employer’s preferred place to recruit. These Career Consultants advise students one-on-one on topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, job and internship search, job offer evaluation and negotiation, preparing for a career fair, personal branding and LinkedIn use, and much more.
