How would you describe your job profile as a campaign manager?
Aditya explains that his role as a campaign manager is to plan, coordinate, and execute the different campaigns used by iSchoolConnect. This primarily includes engaging universities and study abroad aspirants through events and other products and services. Aditya organizes various partner webinars, that facilitate college and student interaction. He also conducts webinars in schools that reach out to him for study abroad assistance.
At iSchoolConnect, Aditya handles verticals like the iSchoolPrep, the back end for our LMS, and the structuring of courses. He also creates workflows to manage the company’s data and looks into forging valuable partnerships for the company.
What is your professional and educational background like?
For his undergrad, Aditya pursued a degree in business administration with a dual major in Internation Business and Business Law from Drexel University. He then went on to work on startup consulting in 2016 at Marico Innovation Foundation. Here he says he learnt about stepping up a business, its challenges, and how to develop a product that can reach the limelight. After this, he transitioned to product management in 2018 with Marico Limited under the Safolla Fittify Gourmet Brand.
Aditya later decided to pursue my Masters in Digital Media and Marketing at ESCP Business School. He then took up a role as Marketing Associate at Cyberior Technologies. He joined iSchoolConnect in Jan 2020 as an Associate Marketing Manager.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Aditya likes the novelty that his job brings. He loves working on a variety of different projects that challenge his intellect. Moreover, he loves using the wide array of technology and tools that trigger his creativity and help him automate certain processes.

What skills do you feel, someone looking to venture into this field would need to develop?
According to Aditya, there are a few specific skills that you would need to develop to be a successful marketing manager. The first is, understanding the audience. One has to have a good idea of who the target audience is to create an impactful marketing campaign. You must be thorough with consumer behavior and deliver something that the audience can interact with and relate to.
Next, Aditya says to research various tools in the market that can automate the whole process. This will help you be more organized and diligent. Automating certain processes also leaves room for the more important stuff which is creativity.
Aditya further adds the importance of being abreast with your competitors. He says that knowing and analyzing what your competitors are doing can help you better plan your marketing strategy while inspiring your creative juices.
What are some of the campaigns that you have managed and which one are you most proud of?
One of Aditya’s first marketing campaigns was with Marico Limited for their Safolla Fittify Gourmet Brand. Here he was involved in everything from the ideation of the product to its formulation, marketing as well as distribution.
At iSchoolConnect, he worked on campaigns like Home Away from Home, ICEF, iSchoolConnect Scholarship, etc. However, he is most proud of the iSchoolPrep campaign because he got to build it from the very beginning.
“I am most proud of the iSchoolPrep campaign since I was working on the project from scratch and it has been a really fun journey to get to where we are with it now”
What would your advice be to someone looking to work in campaigns?
Aditya’s golden advice for anyone looking to work in campaigns is to work with your team. He says it is essential to keep everyone in the loop all the time since the field is very fast-paced. He further adds that good communication is key!
