India Excellence Scholarship | Pursue a Master’s at UCL!

This is an effort to present an opportunity for 100 of India’s best and brightest minds. This is your gateway to pursue a top-notch, full-time Master’s program at the world-leading institution.

India Excellence Scholarships 

Prospective Master’s (postgraduate taught courses) students across various disciplines can benefit from the UCL India Excellence Scholarships. The students can receive a financial grant of £5,000 for their education.

Commencing from the academic year 2024–2025, this scholarship program will provide 33 scholarships. It is for meritorious students who have received or are expected to attain a first-class degree. UCL will grant an additional 67 scholarships in the subsequent two years, demonstrating its commitment to fostering academic excellence.

Eligibility criteria for India Excellence Scholarships 

The prerequisite scholarship criteria include a candidate being permanently domiciled in India and being eligible to pay overseas tuition.

The India Excellence Scholarship requires one to have an undergraduate degree, previous or current, from the top 100 colleges listed in the National Institutional Ranking Framework by the Government of India. Additionally, a candidate’s GPA must translate to a first-class degree GPA in the UK.

To have the application considered valid, candidates must submit a comprehensive admission application for a full-time Master’s degree by 5 PM BST, 29th February 2024. This scholarship excludes any distance learning programmes.

UCL Indian Summer School

Scheduled to take place June 10–14, 2024, UCL has announced plans for the first-ever UCL India Summer School. With a host institution of The British School in New Delhi, the goal of this Summer School is to give Indian students preparation for university life. This will provide a firsthand look at what life will be like at a top-tier UK university.

The UCL India Summer School features modules delivered by five esteemed UCL professors. This will be a transformative experience for 50 students in years 10 and 11. The program will emphasize interactive learning, with students working in small groups to maximize engagement.
