a. Mussallem Union

The Mussallem Union is a campus institution you will visit daily. It serves as the core of campus activities, including food, leisure, and career services. The Mussallem Union consists of four offices-

Another exciting add-on to the Mussallem Union is the Pi-Vilion. A glass-enclosed Hulman’s pavilion with sustainable elements, the Pi-Vilion, is located next to the rebuilt and extended Mussallem Union. It holds gatherings practically year-round, with seating for 40 to 50 people.

b. Student dining services

One of RHIT’s best-kept secrets is its excellent cuisine, delivered daily by Bon Appetit. This multi-award-winning food supplier focuses on diverse, fresh, local farm-to-table alternatives. The from-scratch cooking, nutritional approach, and local sourcing of Bon Appetit ensure that the food on campus is both sustainable and tasty. c. Residence halls

They also have 11 affiliated Greek organizations, several of which have been recognized as exceptional chapters both regionally and nationally.

b. Community service events

If you enjoy helping others, there will be several opportunities to volunteer while studying at Rose-Hulman. Every year, they perform over 10,000 hours of community work! So, you will have various options to participate in charity activities at Rose-Hulman. 

c. Branam & Kremer Innovation Centers

The BIC & KIC comprise nearly 30,000 square feet of a multidisciplinary workspace where student project and competition teams design, develop, and bring their ideas to life. Teams huddle ahead of intense competitions, clubs unveil new innovations, and individual students tweak their latest projects in the Branam and Kremer Innovation Centers. The spaces are alive with activity, with wide-open workspaces where students collaborate across majors and bring their ideas to life. Students also use the BIC and KIC for senior design projects and competition teams.

3. Student affairs

If you have any queries concerning student life, from athletics to residence halls and food plans, the Office of Student Affairs is the place to go. Rose-Hulman provides students assistance and counseling regardless of their situation. If you need a friendly face to chat with or tasty food, visit them in the heart of the Musallem Union, beneath the main staircase.

a. Student accessibility services

Students with special needs or who require accessibility services may be eligible for accommodations that provide them equal access to the living and learning environment and college events. Students must inform the Director of Student Accessibility Services and provide adequate paperwork after being admitted to RHIT to verify their eligibility for accommodations.

b. International student services

The institute’s office helps international students with immigration concerns, cross-cultural therapy, and other issues. They also have a vibrant International Student Association that organizes several cultural activities on campus.

c. Academic advising

You will work closely with your academic adviser to define your goals and select your educational experiences at Rose-Hulman. During orientation, you will attend a group advising meeting where you will meet your academic adviser, review your fall class schedule, and discuss various registration and academic concerns. Following that, you will meet with your advisor personally every quarter to evaluate your goals and current progress and plan your course schedule for the upcoming term.

a. Financial aid and services

Many sources of financial assistance are available to Rose-Hulman students, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. Although most of the aid is provided for an academic year, you may apply for assistance before the beginning of any quarter. Rose Hulman’s Student Financial Services Office is available to assist students with organization deposits, laptop financing, student billing, and payroll. 

b. Learning and academic testing centers

Rose-Hulman’s Learning Center offers tutoring, final exam review sessions, study areas, course files, and more. The Academic Testing Center provides accommodations for students with disabilities and proctored make-up exams. All of these services are available for free.

c. Health services

Rose-Hulman’s friendly, certified health services staff is here to help you with health-related issues. Their services are confidential, HIPAA compliant, and accessible to current students.

d. Counseling services
