ACCT 201  Fundamentals of Financial Accounting  (3 credits)

It is an introductory course in financial accounting from the standpoint of a preparer. The course covers the theoretical foundation and basic accounting terminology. It will teach students how to perform the entire accounting cycle, from analyzing basic accounting transactions to preparing basic financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, stockholders’ equity statement, and statement of cash flows. The course teaches students to critically analyze accounting data.

BSLW 266  The Impact of Law on the Business Environment  (3 credits)

It also covers the legal system and global business practices in the rapidly changing business-legal landscape. CSIT 104  Python Programming I (3 credits)

They introduce basic computational concepts as legal and ethical issues in computing and information technology. The main focus is an introduction to the Python programming language, including syntax and semantics, as well as basic algorithms and problem-solving skills in Python. 

FILM 363  Integrated Media  (3 credits)

Students will investigate and create works that combine art, science, and technology to learn how to apply new technologies and integrate multiple media and disciplines into new forms of expression. Students will use video, sound, music, robotics, gaming, and computer graphics in this laboratory setting.

CSIT 111  Fundamentals of Java Programming  (3 credits)

The course covers the fundamental syntax and semantics of the JAVA programming language. Primitive data types, classes, objects, conditionals and loops, arrays, sorting, searching, recursion, and object-oriented program design are among the topics covered in this course. 

HLTH 102  Introduction to Public Health  (3 credits)

This course gives students a fundamental understanding of the field of public health, its breadth, and the variety of scientific disciplines that inform its practice. It provides students with a ‘taste’ of public health and contextualizes public health topics in the context of population-based issues and health. 

The course covers AIDS, and other emerging infectious diseases, environmental hazards, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse. It also covers access to health care, health disparities, and social and distributive justice. The emphasis is on current public health issues and the forces that shape them.

INBS 250  Introduction to International Business  (3 credits)

The course introduces undergraduate students to the global economy’s dynamics, international trade, and investment and their connections to the US economy. Students will learn the fundamentals of international business operations and the interrelationships between the various components. It will highlight the role of multinational institutions and the cultural, economic, legal, and political environments in which businesses operate.
