- Candidates studying professional courses in government-aided and non-government-aided colleges with an annual income of less than INR 2 Lakh 50 Thousand would be eligible for full tuition fee reimbursement.
- Candidates with an annual income of less than INR 2 Lakh 50 Thousand who apply for professional courses in partially aided/unaided and permanently unaided colleges will receive 50% tuition fee coverage.
- Candidates applying for professional courses in government-aided and non-government-aided colleges with an annual income of INR 2 Lakhs 50 Thousand to INR 8 Lakhs will be eligible for 50% tuition fee reimbursement.
- Candidates pursuing non-professional courses in a government-aided/non-government-aided/partially aided/unaided/permanently unaided college/institution with an annual income limit of less than INR 8 lakhs are eligible for 100% tuition price reimbursement.
- Eligible candidates will also receive an education expenditure stipend of INR 5000 apiece.
- It offers a book and stationary allowance of INR 5000.

- Students from the Scheduled Caste or Neo-Buddhist categories must be Maharashtra residents.
- The applicant’s family’s annual income should not exceed 6 lakhs.
- The age limit for PG courses is 35 years, and the age limit for Ph.D. is 40.
- Students in their first, second, or third year at an international institution may also apply for the award. Students in their second and third years will only be eligible for a scholarship for part of the duration.
- Students must get admission to an institution with a world institution rank of 300 or higher.
- Students previously receiving this award for postgraduate studies abroad may reapply for Ph.D. programs.
- This award is only available to a family’s first two children.
- Part-time, correspondence, or distance students are not eligible to apply.
- The overseas university should have approval from the Indian Council of Life Sciences for candidates interested in pursuing medical studies.
