      Hey Robert,
International student insurance policies are specifically designed for students studying abroad.

The travel insurance provides coverage against baggage-related risks, medical expenses, stay disruption, and other travel-related issues that you may face during your trips. In some universities, getting student travel insurance may not be mandatory, but it is advisable to have it as a precautionary measure.

      Hey Pranay,
Gird up and start searching all the information regarding your flight and its expenses at least 5-6 months before your flight is due in order to travel smart.

One of the most important travel tips for students is that it’s economical to book tickets on Tuesday or Wednesday. The best time to buy a cheap ticket is described to be around 3 to 5 O clock in the morning. Also, if your flight involves a transfer, such as Canada to LA, it is always wise to take these transfer flights separately to avoid accommodation problems and hours-long wait.

Yes, you'll have to book a connecting flight
Just find a flight midway between your hometown and northeastern
Book a flight with a good enough window for an easy layover
As a precaution, let the time between flights be 6 to 8 hours apart

Hey there, I'm assuming you're talking about this video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fRj_cXZSrQ&t=6s
Well, as our awesome CEO told you in this video, it is possible for anyone to get an upgrade while you are traveling via flights for long distances. There are many ways that will help you with the upgrade. We won't deny, some are based on your luck but there are other things that you can do to get a fancy upgrade. Some of the best tips are:

1)You can ask the agent at the ticket counter
      2) Checking in early also helps
3)You can volunteer to get 'bumped' from an overbooked flight
4)you can request a flight attendant to provide an upgrade if there are any seats empty in the first class.

If you are lucky then you will get an upgrade by using these tricks.

It is advised to look for flights well in advance (atleast 9 months prior) for you to get the best discounts in flights. Check for websites that provide student discounts over the price stated Find out which is the cheapest place near you to fly from Book connecting flights for cheaper fares Try looking for refundable airfares so that in case of an emergency you don't loose your money.
