@ella By all indications, your GMAT score is amazing, in my opinion. If you nail your interviews, you might undoubtedly enroll in one of the best universities for an MBA. Applying to MIT Sloan, London Business School, INSEAD, Wharton School, Kellogg School of Business, etc., as well as other prestigious MBA schools is highly recommended. You might potentially apply for scholarships at many of the top MBA schools in the world with a score of 750+.

      Hey Charlotte!

The GMAT score assesses your exam performance, whereas a percentile indicates the proportion of people you outperformed. A 95 percentile score indicates that you outperformed 95% of those who took the test.

      Hey Devki!

Appearing for GMAT is imperative if you want to attend a business school. Approximately 2/3 of the 1900 B-Schools demand GMAT scores worldwide. However, several institutions have also started accepting GRE exam scores.

Here are a few basic requirements you need to fulfill to appear for the exam-

The applicant should have a basic educational qualification from any recognised university or college. The applicant should be a minimum of 18 years of age. If the applicant is below 18, then a ‘no-objection‘ certificate is required from the guardian. The applicant must have a valid passport.

      @Jay-Shetty

      Hey Jay,
To calculate your GMAT score, you must first determine the type of score you want to receive from the test. The GMAT has two types of scores:

Total (composite) score: The total (or composite) score is a combination of your Analytical Writing Assessment and Integrated Reasoning sections. It ranges from 200 to 800. This is the only score that will be reported to schools. Subscores: There are three different subscores that are reported on a separate page after taking the test: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Total Integrated Reasoning. These range from 0-60 each. These scores are then added together.

Then, using a GMAT score calculator, estimate your approximate score using a GMAT score chart.

      Hey Natasha!

It is possibly one of the most scoring sections, which will help you bag a higher GMAT score. These questions are highly subjective. Here are some things to keep in mind about this section:

You will get a short paragraph with an argument and reasoning. Provide an analysis of why this argument is sound or not. Answer the question in 300-500 words and keep it to the point.

      Hey Tara!

A good GMAT score helps you obtain admission to one of the top B-schools globally. According to experts, a score anywhere between 670 to 700 is considered good. But if you aspire to enter one of the Ivy League colleges, you need to aim higher.

A good GMAT score also depends on the competitiveness of the program you are planning to pursue. Consider these four factors to determine whether your GMAT score is good-

      Previous batch’s average GMAT score.
The GMAT score required for obtaining a scholarship.
The estimated ROI on the basis of the GMAT score.
Class profile of the previous year.
Anything above 700 is considered a great GMAT score, and your choice of MBA college should drive you to achieve that.

      Hey Manas!

It completely depends on which sections you need to focus on. If you find a specific section of the test more challenging than the rest, it would be wise to invest in a book that specializes in that section. However, if you don’t have such a weak point, you can get a comprehensive book that includes the concepts covered under all the sections of the test.

      Hey Mani!

There are several universities offering undergraduate and postgraduate in mechanical engineering. Most undergraduate courses are divided into 6 semesters, and have a number of semester-specific subjects that students need to undertake. In addition to the regular subjects, you can choose from a variety of electives to acquire the knowledge and skills you need to master this field. The subjects taught in mechanical engineering courses have several applications in a number of industries. These include robotics, nanotechnology, and health.
