For MBA programs, students are given only 1 year for getting the work visas (1/4 chance in 1st go as per stats) , if not, they are deported back to India. Is this true ?
If yes, any solutions around it ?

Considering the present immigration (and other factors) scenario, is it still advisable to go for USA or other countries like Canada ?

88/85/79 in 10th/12th/B.Tech & Work-Ex (4 years in multiple companies in different industries varied job profile). How good is this profile to get into the top 20 universities (no ex-cur achievements apart from organizer for a couple of committees in Under Grad) ?

        Hey Jitesh,

The usual stay back period in the USA after your MBA is 60-90 days, without OPT. If you decide to opt for the OPT or the Optional Practical Training, you are allowed to work in the U.S. for a period of up to twelve months while studying or after the completion of your MBA program.

You have a great profile that is fit for the top universities in both Canada as well as the USA. However, there are other scores such as the ones for GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS that also make a huge difference in your admission. If you could provide those scores, I could tell you specifically which top universities in USA you might be eligible for.

The USA has always been a great country for education and job opportunities and it still remains one of the best. However, if you wish to immigrate and settle abroad, Canada might be a better option. It has better permanent residency policies as well as really great job options. However, it all boils down to your preferences.

I'd say Canada is much friendlier and wants to retain international talent
But it also depends...I mean the quality of education is also really good in the US
          Depends on your preferences
