      Hey Ryan!

      Firstly, you need to take some time to learn all there is to know about this exam. Next, you need to attempt some practice questions to know where your English proficiency stands. You can also record yourself attempting a practice speaking test. It is also a good idea to try out some online IELTS training. Most importantly, it would be best to read about the fundamentals of basic and advanced English grammar. Moreover, it would also do you good to develop an academic word list that can help you improve your vocabulary. Last but not least, remember to stay positive and motivated.

      Hey Natasha,
      Usually, the TRF in IELTS is received through the mail. However, after COVID-19, the TRF is changed to eTRF. The following steps explain how you can proceed with the IELTS TRF download.

      Step 1- Visit the authorized website of IELTS.
      Step 2- Go to the login section. Enter the credentials that you obtained for candidate login.
      Step 3- Immediately after login, a pop-up will appear on the screen that will show you all the information about your IELTS score.
      Step 4- You can download your TRF in IELTS in PDF format by clicking on the save option.
      Step 5- Scroll down and click on view eTRF. It will show you the declared result.
      Step 6- You can directly print the eTRF from the window.

      @Robert-Ferrero

      Hey Robert,
      The number of correct answers determines the raw score for IELTS listening. There are 40 IELTS listening questions in total. Each correct answer receives one point. An IELTS listening score band of 9 is calculated using the total number of correct answers out of 40.

      The IELTS listening score calculation is entirely based on the number of correct answers converted into a 9-band scale. Certified experts with extensive knowledge and teaching experience evaluate IELTS listening scores. The conducting bodies evaluate their competence on a regular basis to ensure their legitimacy.

      PTE is a computer-based test designed to measure the English proficiency of non-native English speakers-

      The PTE exam assesses a student’s listening, reading, speaking, and writing abilities within a single, three-hour session Like TOEFL, PTE is inclined more towards American English But your PTE test scores will also get you an admit from colleges in Australia, UK, and Europe What’s more, the test is considered to be faster, fairer, and easy to take

      All this is possible because the test is completely computerized and involves no human raters

      Try asking again. If they say no, you'll have to wait it out.
      According to this post, test centers for IELTS have started to reopen (with safety precautions).
      So hopefully, you won't have to wait much.
