You must submit a strong application whether you are competing for a scholarship offered by a university or an organisation. Anything with the "Wow!" factor that persuades them that you are a qualified candidate and that providing you with this financial help would have a really positive outcome. Here are a few tips for scholarship application-
- Investigate which scholarships are available.
- The story behind the scholarship: A plus if you use it.
- Be unique
- Read (and make sure you get the instructions) before writing!
- When writing your personal statement, go straight to the point!
- Check how the others did it!
- Go local before you go global
- Choose who will be your reference wisely!
- Check, check, check!
- Apply to as many and do it before time!
