A decision like that depends upon a variety of factors. What I can help you with is making an informed decision so here are the advantages of both:

      Living on campus:
      a. Accessibility: laboratories, gyms, libraries, etc are much more close to you.
      b. Social Life: Students closer to campus can spend more time there which helps to build friendships and connections in some cases.
      c. Security: Staying on campus with the provision of campus security, gives you a safer feeling than staying off-campus. Living off-Campus:
      a. Personal Liberty: students living off-campus generally enjoy more independence than those on-campus.
      b. Space and Privacy: for those living on campus having personal space becomes an issue as college dorms can become really noisy at times. This is a big advantage for those who like there own space.
      c. Availability: staying off-campus means you're exposed to much more which helps a lot.
You could read more about it on this blog(https://ischoolconnect.com/blog/on-campus-vs-off-campus-what-should-international-students-choose/)

      "Hey Radhika,

Choosing between On-campus and Off-campus can be tough. Usually Off Campus accommodations are cheaper as you can share a room/house with other people and on-campus costs more because universities tend to charge higher and provide better amenities. However, this may differ from university to university. On-Campus accommodations usually range from $800-$3000. These usually depend upon the universities, and you can check it out on their websites. For off-campus accommodation there are rentals and home stays. At rentals, you can get roommates to share your financial burdens. At home stays, you can get a homely feel as you get to stay with a family and you will get to know their culture . For more information you can checkout this blog it will give you more information about this https://ischoolconnect.com/blog/international-student-accommodation-options/ "

Accommodation expenses depend upon where you stay. On-Campus and off-Campus have different range of expense. For on-Campus the expense can range from $110 to $280 AUS per week and off-campus can range from $90 to $325 AUS per week. Just like accommodation, part time jobs are also on-campus and off-campus. It depends upon where you get the job and how far is your job from the place you stay at. The closer these two are the less expensive it gets in terms of travelling. Both of them have their pros and cons but for more information check out these blogs

In the Netherlands, it's cheaper to live on-campus than off-campus.
Living on campus also has a great prospect in terms of socialization and adaptation to diversity.
You’ll love how easy it is to get around the place with a bike – the preferred (and the cheapest) mode of transportation in the Netherlands.

      Hi Meghana,
Usually, you should fly 1 to 2 weeks before the college starts.
But the date at which you can arrive on foreign soil will be mentioned in your I20/Visa documents.
If not, you can email the recruitment officer to find out.

It depends on your preferences as well.
If you want to live by yourself and money is not an issue, go for a studio apartment.
But if you can't live alone or you want to save, live with roommates.

Apart from the things Rahul has mentioned, you'll have to pay for your WiFi, your laundry
If you want to cover these costs, you can always find a part-time job, or get a scholarship
Another thing you can do is become a Teaching Assistant or a Graduate Assistant

      Hey Ryan!

In Denmark, over half of pupils ride their bikes to school, while the other third prefer public transportation. The most affordable monthly public transportation pass costs 50 EUR. Denmark is known as a “cycling country”. The country has 4.5 million bicycles or nearly one for every person that lives there. You can also purchase a second-hand bike for transportation. This will cost anywhere between 30 – 135 EUR, depending on the bike’s condition.

All of this means that commuters who choose to cycle, walk, or take public transportation have excellent options. Local trains, metros, and buses are available in large cities such as Copenhagen, and there are good links to even the most rural locations.

If you prefer to drive, the majority of the road network is free to use, though there are occasional tolls. However, traffic in cities can be heavy during peak hours.

      Hey Devki,

The monthly food expenditure in Sweden is approximately 200 EUR. This depends on your eating habits, whether you cook, and other factors. You can save money if you buy food from low-cost supermarkets like ‘Lidl’ or ‘Willy’s’ or outlets on the city's outskirts.

      Hey Robert,
In the Czech Republic, the cost of student housing in a dormitory ranges from 4,500 to 7,500 CZK (180-300 EUR).

A one-room apartment in the town costs 14.000 CZK (560 EUR), whereas a one-bedroom flat in the countryside costs 11.000 (440 EUR).

You may also rent a huge apartment with friends, in which case the average price of the room will be 7000-8000 CZK (280-320 EUR).
