My overall IELTS score is 7.0, is it acceptable if I want to apply for an MS in International Business in Canada?

Hey Smantha, Most of the universities in Canada need a minimum of 6.5 IELTS score for an MS degree, with each band no lesser than 6 or 6.5 out of 9. But IELTS is not the only thing that matters, your overall profile also plays an important role. However, looking at your scores, it shouldn't be difficult for you to get into your preferred university. There are some universities who need 7.0 or more as an IELTS score. For example, the University of Waterloo mostly accepts 7.0 band as an IELTS score. Some Nursing and medical colleges also want 7.0 or more as an IELTS score. So I think your scores look fine and if you are lucky and your profile is up to mark, then you will definitely get admission in most Canadian universities for an International Business program.
