About

The bmus combines focused study in performance with supporting academic studies. Every aspect is designed to help students towards realising their full musical potential, and to prepare students for their career in music. Students will have at least one hour of one-to-one tuition per week in their principal study, with numerous performance opportunities. The university offers a wide range of activities, events, training sessions and modules for students to hone their skill in such things as studio recording and editing techniques, self-promotion and marketing, writing cvs, making funding applications, understanding the music business and working in arts management.

For all applications, the university requires evidence of professional performing potential in their principal study, sound general musicianship, and a good aural response. Applicants must hold school leaving certificate or equivalent. Students need to demonstrate English language proficiency.
