ENIT is located in Tarbes, Hautes-Pyrénées, in the southwest of France, 30 kilometers east of Pau and 150 kilometers south of Toulouse. It is approximately one hour and fifty minutes drive from the beach resort of Biarritz and 45 minutes drive from the main ski resort of the Pyrénées mountain.
ENIT lies in the Tarbes-Pyrenees university center, which includes several schools, laboratories, university residences, and a cafeteria. The T2 bus line at the university stop and the T3 bus line at ENI stop serve the school and campus. The lines also link the city center (Verdun Place) to the railway station. ENIT consists of school buildings, a library, a laboratory with a machining workshop, a gym, and a garden, among other things.

ENIT’s students’ organizations include-
‘Bureau des élèves’- It brings students together by organizing a variety of sports, cultural, or technical clubs, as well as supporting various promotions and organizing major events.
Club International- It encourages the integration of foreign exchange students into the school by establishing the ‘Buddy scheme,’ in which local or senior students befriend new international students.
The ‘Foyer’ is a house association that also acts as a student club.
Student organizations are available for first, second, third, fourth, and fifth years
Several clubs exist, including ‘Cacophony’ (music), ‘Sono Sam’ (sound), aero-modeling, mechanics, mountain, skiing, motorcycling, photography, geek, gala association, and others.
ENIT’s graduates are in demand for activities such as studying, calculating, designing, and implementing products and systems, industrialization, team management, project management, and manufacturing equipment, all while respecting human factors, the environment, standards, and security.
ENIT offers a five-year training program in accordance with European standards, including semester organization, ECTS evaluation, diploma supplement, and the awarding of the ENIT diploma in engineering, which confers the master’s degree (MEng).
ENIT trains general engineers for five years, culminating in the ‘Diplôme d’Ingénieur,’ the equivalent of a five-year Master of Engineering (MEng.) or Master of Science (MSc) degree (300 validated ECTS).
Following a three-year ‘common trunk’ of fundamental sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry, and electronics), engineering sciences (mechanics, design, manufacturing, industrial engineering, industrial IT, materials), and humanities sciences (communication, management, economics, English, Espanol, and German languages), students specialize in five departments over the next two years. Since 1989, the ENIT housed the ‘Laboratoire de génie de production’ or LGP (English- Production Engineering Laboratory). It is part of the University of Toulouse’s research pole and collaborates with the Toulouse National Polytechnic Institute (INPT). In 2022, the two scientific departments made an addition of 53 ‘teachers-researchers’ (19 full professors/readers and 34 associate professors/lecturers), 14 postdoctoral researchers, and 55 Ph.D. students-
